Nightwatch Announces New Executive Director

Operation Nightwatch welcomes new Executive Director, Frank DiGirolamo

Current Executive Director, the Rev. Rick Reynolds, is retiring after 28 years of service

The Operation Nightwatch Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Deacon Frank DiGirolamo as the new Executive Director, beginning May 1, 2022. Deacon Frank is replacing Rev. Rick Reynolds, who is retiring after 28 years of service. His final day will be June 1.

No stranger to street ministry, Deacon Frank has been a frequent volunteer for Operation Nightwatch since 2014. His care and passion for helping people is deeply rooted in his faith. Pastor Rick is thrilled at the selection, and looks forward to an active retirement, with opportunities to continue serving.

“I’ve been inspired and deeply touched through my encounters with homeless people while at Nightwatch,” Deacon Frank said. “My prayer is that we can continue to develop our ability to lovingly respond to our unhoused neighbors.”

Reverend Reynolds added, “It has been an emotion-packed 28 years at Nightwatch. Our homeless friends will continue to need support. Though I will no longer be Executive Director, the care for human beings at Nightwatch will go on. Your support and prayers are appreciated.”
