Housing

Operation Nightwatch underwrites housing for 24 low-income seniors.

Most of our tenants were homeless or close to it. Generous donors and volunteers make it affordable for people who would be priced out of the real estate market in Seattle.

The units are small furnished rooms. They come with a bed, a dresser, and a mini-refrigerator. The bathrooms are shared, and one community kitchen serves each floor. Activities and outings are planned by a housing coordinator.

Our goal is to keep the seniors (aged 62 and older) in their housing as long as possible.

One resident told us, “I thought I knew what love was, until I came to Operation Nightwatch.” Pretty high praise!
